Twin Lakes Reservoir is the results of the Mounations in the back ground. All the creeks flow off the mountains down to Lake Creek and flows to here into the Lakes. This lake is the first of the lakes, then flows into a smaller lake. As the waters leave the second lake, the river forms the Arkansas River. Located off hwy 82 in Colorado, U.S.A. The photo of the begining of the arkansas river has yet to be loaded. Beautiful scenery all the way around this area. To the right of this lake is called San Isabel National Forest. To the left side of this photo is called Collegiate Peaks Wildness. The Continental Divide is at the top of Independence Pass on this Hwy 82. Photo taken with a Kodak Z981 on tripod.
