The Taos Peublo Indains are very well adapted to the rugged natural surroundings from where they live. They grow and hunt food the way their ancestors did many years ago. Except they hunt now with a permit or license, an go into the mountains. These mountains today are called The Carson National forest. I heard one the peublo people say that their corn got mutilated by the Elk, the night before. So he was going to go up and watch over the rest of his crops. Still fighting after all this time, to keep what is rightfully theirs. Photo taken in Taos, New Mexico, U.S.A. with a Kodak Z761.
