Snow Wheels by

Though it’s March, we’re still having winter in New Hampshire. This pattern comes from a photo I took on a recent snowy morning. The central part is a rectangular portion of the picture, reflected left to right. Then right triangles are reflected off that, and finally around the top and bottom a 9 degree wedge is reflected and repeated to form circular areas. The portion of the image I used was carefully selected to form a continuous zigzag border around the outside. The snowy boughs provide interesting connections throughout the work.

If you’d like to see some details that are too small to view here, see my blog entry on this pattern .

This is beautiful and symmetrical, reminding me of the beautiful mosaic works in Persia. The structure is wonderful! Hope you are going to download some more work for us to see!S

Thank you all. I shall certainly add more works, though probably slowly, so that I have time to process people’s comments.
