Earth Comet by

This geometric pattern was fashioned from a photo of vegetation along a lake shore in late fall. Eight different eight-sided patterns are incorporated into the work. Dried and bleached grass (or is it sedge?) in direct sun gives overall form to the construction, with bits of sunlight filtering through the vegetation adding bright glints here and there. Some of them look like little comets to me, hence the title.

    love the details

  • Thank you. I wish I knew how to keep the bottom menu bar from overwriting them.

Maybe put a blank image in there?

  • As comments accumulate, the bar moves down. I’ll just have to get a lot of comments.
