Icy Nebula
Obviously just a picture of leaves in lake ice near the shore, but my emotional reaction to this photo is always that I am gazing out into the heavens.
I have been wracking my brains as to whether to submit this to the “Art from the Blue” group or “Purple Haze”. The blue definitely has some red in it, but the shades are so subtle I’m at a loss. What do you think?

This has an abstract quality to it but the colours make it for me…...so soft and subtle :)

I agree. I took this photo with the intent to make patterns from it, but none has ever been as good as the original picture.

Thank you! I kept thinking about turning back, but I’m glad I walked that extra 100 yards to find this. My grandfather was an oil driller, and his motto was, “Always drill one more foot.”
