I’ve been a computer programmer for 30 years, and an amateur photographer for much longer. Since 2003 I’ve been combining the two by devising programs to let me create geometric patterns from photographs. Like kaleidoscopes, but usually with more complex geometry. So that’s half my life. In the other half I am married with two daughters, I work at Dartmouth College as a research associate, and I play as much table tennis as I can manage.
