I’ve been a computer programmer for 30 years, and an amateur photographer for much longer. Since 2003 I’ve been combining the two by devising programs to let me create geometric patterns from photographs. Like kaleidoscopes, but usually with more complex geometry. If you enjoy these patterns and want to learn more, you may want to visit my blog. I show details of some of the patterns that are too small to see when the whole pattern is on the screen.
So that’s half my life. In the other half I am married with two daughters, I work at Dartmouth College as a research associate, and I play as much table tennis as I can manage.
