Forward Motion

What a rush!!! Everything was just perfect this day. The wind steady, water not rough and choppy. You can’t see but we are surrounded by land as this is a lake. That can create gusty and swirly wind. Today was just perfect.

Gippsland Lakes, Gippsland Victoria.

Taken with a Nikon Coolpix 4500

Great shot…unless the vessel is the size of an oil tanker then I tend to be below decks blowing chunks. I love this shot. I could never take this kind of shot.

Gosh this makes me seasick, lol. It’s an awesome capture—I don’t think I would have been able to hold the camera still if the boat I was on was doing that!

Thanks Simon, Mugsy, and Erin. Been sailing for a few years so don’t get seasick. The wind this day was perfect. It came from the same direction the whole time and no gusts. You can’t see but we are on a lake so there was land all around which can make wind unpredictable, swirly, and gusty.
    Perfect day!!!

This looks dangerous – as though you (and your camera) are about to get dunked in the water! Great capture of the motion and feel of excitement. Love the grayscale here.
