I am in the jewellery trade and my specialized field is “Pearl Threading” and have been doing this for around 30 years. I have a wonderful husband and two lovely children who have been the subject of many a photo. We were lucky enough as a family to spend 3 months travelling Australia some years ago. What an amazing country we live in.
I have always loved photography but tended to be a “happy snapper”. I guess I still am but I am trying to improve. I have learnt so much from fellow bubblers and am in awe at their talent.

Not long home from the Whittlesea Show where I had entered some photos in the “Photography Competition”. I placed FIRST with this shot but what really blew my mind was it also won “Best shot in novice section”. I walked away with a grin from ear to ear.
I have just purchased a new lens. Sigma 120-400 mm. This “hobby” thing cost nearly as much as my business. I went out the other night to the park just over the rail line and did some experimenting.
