This reminds me so much of when I was little and was taken to the easter show and I saw those little dollies on a stick and wanted one so bad. Lovely, dreamy, work.
It looks quite surreal: dreamlike but also familiar. The cupie doll image in the frame obscuring her face and the image of the landscape beyond the tent opening invites the viewer to take a much closer look. I was instantly reminded of the TV series ‘Carnivale’.
