Great autumn temtation Darren, when would be the best time to go ? I wish the peak times/dates would be highlighted in the accommodation list in bold letters, where could I find them ?

  • Darren Stones replied

Hi Hans. Last year I visited Bright twice. Late April and early May. The red leaves were at their best in early May, whereas the yellow leaves were best in April. Hope that helps. Cheers.

Great shots. Gives me ideas for similar gates and roads of distinction here in Adelaide.

  • Darren Stones replied

Hi Stephen. Autumn is great and the opportunities are numerous. Enjoy photographing Adelaide during autumn. Cheers.

it’s a beautiful place to visit Darren for sure.

for Hans, it’s hard to gauge as sometimes we have a prolonged summer type warmth with that, the leaves turn late, but quickly.

If you are going to spend a short Autumn break, this is the place to be, and it’s also within easy reach of some destinations that would enjoy more patronage due to recent events

  • Darren Stones replied

Thanks John. It’s a spectacular sight, and a photographer’s dream. The pub is good, too. :)

  • Darren Stones replied

Kaz, the fires were well away from Bright. She’s in good nick and ready to put on her show. It’s a good place to snuggle up next to a fire. Cheers.

It looks fabulous and is certainly on our list of places to visit.

  • Darren Stones replied

Probably the best town in Victoria to witness autumn at its finest, Leanne. Cheers.
