The Point Lonsdale Lighthouse overlooks the treacherous waters of The Rip and is located at the entrance to Port Phillip Bay. Built in 1902, the lighthouse is still manned and a highlight of the Bellarine Peninsula. 100 kilometres south-west of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.
Great Capture Darren, plenty of eye movement for the viewer Also has a mystery about it, and what appears to be a cave. Treacherous waters, and icy winds that blow right through you, at Point Lonsdale are good reason for a manned warning lighthouse.
Thanks, Jodene. Suppose there’s a few elements to cast the eyes over in this image. Just seemed to come together nicely when I framed the scene. Appreciate your comments.

Gorgeous lighting.
Angle of light seemed to accentuate the texture in the sand and highlighted the rock. Could not have asked for more, Sonia. Thank you.
