Flour mill and silos at Corowa, New South Wales, Australia. The former Corowa Flour Mill is acknowledged as a landmark. The main building is of architectural and industrial significance, and it is considered to be of state heritage significance.
It’s wonderful that this historic flour mill will be preserved. There’s one at Manildra that was established in 1904. It’s the largest and oldest continuously operating flour mill in the Southern Hemisphere. Next time I’m out that way I’ll have to check it out! Marilyn :o)
Thanks for commenting, Marilyn. I love seeing these old silos when travelling in country areas.
