Donate your calendar to Aussie Helpers
Greetings to all members of the Australian Travel Photography and Writing group.
Folks, with Christmas 2009 approaching fast, I’d like members of this group to consider donating one of their own 2010 RedBubble manufactured calendars to the Australian charity organisation, Aussie Helpers. To be part of this initiative it will require you to purchase one RedBubble manufactured calendar of your own and have it sent to me direct. Then, I will send all donated calendars and a detailed letter acknowledging those who have donated and sponsored to the Aussie Helpers charity in one package on behalf of the Australian Travel Photography and Writing group.
On behalf of our group, I have secured support for this initiative from RedBubble Managing Director Peter Styles of a free standard shipping code for you to use when purchasing your calendar. RedBubble will also be covering the shipping cost of the total package from my door to the Aussie Helpers Head Office in Charleville, Queensland, Australia.
About Aussie Helpers:
Brian and Nerida Egan established Aussie Helpers on 21 May 2002. They began the organisation with $20.00. Their mission, along with the volunteers who assist their charity, is to help fight poverty and lift the spirits of those severely affected by drought in the Australian outback and rural areas. Even though the drought is easing is some areas, their work remains critical because farmers continue to require support to assist them through difficult times. With drought, flood and bushfires providing a constant challenge, Aussie Helpers continues with vigour to assist Australian farmers doing it tough.

Folks, if you cannot afford the full base cost of one calendar, consider seeking donations from family and friends to assist you in the purchase cost of your calendar.
As a participant in this group charity initiative, you will be publicly recognised for your donation. Participants will be—
Featured in a specially dedicated Australian Travel Photography and Writing group forum topic as follows:
- Your calendar thumbnail and it will link back to your calendar
- Your name and it will link back to your main RedBubble profile
Featured in a specially dedicated Australian Travel Photography and Writing account journal as follows:
- Your calendar thumbnail and it will link back to your calendar
- Your name and it will link back to your main RedBubble profile
Other benefits:
- Your calendar will be distributed by Aussie Helpers as a gift to a person whose spirit needs lifting
- Your calendar will be viewed by the recipient, their family and friends
My voluntary role in this initiative will be as the administrator, coordinator and promoter. To get things moving, I’m donating one 2010 Outback New South Wales calendar to Aussie Helpers.
PLEASE NOTE:
My name, postal (home/work) address, home and mobile phone numbers, email address and free standard shipping code will be supplied via bubblemail to group members who wish to take part in this initiative.
All calendars must reach me no later than 30 November 2009. Contact me via bubblemail now to participate in this group charity initiative.
