Canon 60D, 50mm Prime, Abu Dhabi.

An upward shot of the one of the world’s largest chandeliers located in the Grand Mosque. 10m high and weighs 9 tonnes and decorated in thousands of Swarovski crysta and covered in 24K gold.
Quite a sight!! Tonemapped in photomatix and finished with HDR filters in CS6.

I have loved taking photographs since I was handed the “power” aged around 10. I have had many cameras since then, most costing under £100, and have enjoyed every one of them. I take pictures because I love the process and the results (sometimes) and if these can be enjoyed by others, then this is an added and welcomed bonus. Currently using Canon 60Ds with L series lenses.
