Just love Maine Coon cats, a friend of mine has two and I just love the demeanor. Unfortunately she has a terminal disease and will have to find a buyer for her beautiful cat. I would take them in a minute Susan..but I got Spook from a rescue centre and he really does not get on with other cats and is frightened of strangers at first…hence his name. But once he gains your trust he is one of the most loving cats I have ever known. He behaves more like a dog when it comes to affection… runs to greet you, rolls over when tickled etc. That is such a sad story about your friend and I hope they find peace and a good home for the kitties.
