About dgscotland

I have loved taking photographs since I was handed the “power” aged around 10. I have had many cameras since then, most costing under £100, and have enjoyed every one of them. I take pictures because I love the process and the results (sometimes) and if these can be enjoyed by others, then this is an added and welcomed bonus. Currently using a Canon 60D.

Just love Maine Coon cats, a friend of mine has two and I just love the demeanor. Unfortunately she has a terminal disease and will have to find a buyer for her beautiful cat. Are you a willing candidate???? This is an awesome capture showing excellent focus and detail on the cat. The eyes are spectacular. Susan

  • I would take them in a minute Susan..but I got Spook from a rescue centre and he really does not get on with other cats and is frightened of strangers at first…hence his name. But once he gains your trust he is one of the most loving cats I have ever known. He behaves more like a dog when it comes to affection…
runs to greet you, rolls over when tickled etc. That is such a sad story about your friend and I hope they find peace and a good home for the kitties. Thanks for your kind comments. Derek.

I understand DG and also appreciate your willingness to love and appreciate the cat you have. This is something I just have to appreciate in another human being. We do what we can to alleviate suffering amongst the animal race and I love you for all your efforts. Thanks again.

  • Aw… thanks so much for your kind words. Take care.
