Taken from the East Ferry to Tiverton, Nova Scotia, Canada car ferry as it leaves the dock at East Ferry, looking down Petit Passage to St. Mary’s Bay. The sky and sea both looked threatening, which made me wonder if I really should be there as the crossing, though short, is pretty choppy at the best of times! LOL

I’ve been an amateur photographer for as long as I can remember, which at my age is about a couple of weeks! I’ve owned film cameras from Zeiss, Scheider, Leica, Nikon and Olympus, as well as digital cameras from Pentax and Canon, and still have several, if I can ever find them. I currently use a Sony NEX-5N with an 18-55mm zoom lens, and after a year of ownership am still learning all the functions.

I realy need to rent a bike next Summer when I am with daughter and kids in Montreal .. and jump on that bike to Nova Scotia (New Scotland)
    Man..Dave .. what a glorious scene!!
    Spot on

  • John, the distance from Montreal to the western edge of Nova Scotia is over 1,000 kilometers; Montreal to my home in Weymouth, 850 km of very mountainous country plus a three hour ferry ride, from Saint John, New Brunswick to Digby, Nova Scotia. But if you do make it here, you will be very welcome.
Glad you like the picture, there are plenty more photo opportunities around here.
