(Wikipedia) Belliveau Cove (French: Anse-des-Belliveau) is a Acadian community in the Canadian province of Nova Scotia, located in the District of Clare in Digby County . I’ve been an amateur photographer for as long as I can remember, which at my age is about a couple of weeks! I’ve owned film cameras from Zeiss, Scheider, Leica, Nikon and Olympus, as well as digital cameras from Pentax and Canon, and still have several, if I can ever find them. I currently use a Sony NEX-5N with an 18-55mm zoom lens, and after a year of ownership am still learning all the functions.

lovely beach photo, I remember how hard it is to walk on the pebbles !!

  • Thanks, John. Just behind where I’m standing is a smooth dirt pathway that runs the length of the beach. Makes it so much easier!

There are a few “beaches” like this down in the south of England I remember. Brighton is one (or at least it was in my day). Seeing the view from this angle tells me that the person in the red coat in No 3 is probably your missus – right? LOL

  • ‘Fraid not, Peter, Kathy had to go into work today, so I nipped down to Belliveau’s Cove as I seem to be on a picture-taking jag the last few days. It’s only three minutes away from the house so it’s nice and easy.
