A repeat of a picture I took last fall of reflections in the stream at the end of our property in Ohio, Nova Scotia, Canada. I actually saw a trout jumping for the very first time. The water is copper coloured from the iron deposits in the uplands.
Just for interest, I’ve added last year’s picture for comparison.

I’ve been an amateur photographer for as long as I can remember, which at my age is about a couple of weeks! I’ve owned film cameras from Zeiss, Scheider, Leica, Nikon and Olympus, as well as digital cameras from Pentax and Canon, and still have several, if I can ever find them. I currently use a Sony NEX-5N with an 18-55mm zoom lens, and after a year of ownership am still learning all the functions.

Beautiful scene, David…. beautiful colours with the lovely orange on the water. Had no clue there was an Ohio, in NS!! The things I’m learnin’!LOL
There are actually several, Wendi, both where we are, which is just Ohio and more, South Ohio, North Ohio down around Yarmouth. Mind you, this whole area was first colonized not by the English, Scottish and French but by Empire Loyalists, those who left the America during the American Revolution because they wanted to remain loyal to King George. All facts that I didn’t know before we came here. Glad you like the pic. I’ve added last year’s over on the right.
