Although this was taken some 25 years ago in the Bernese Oberland of Switzerland, you can see the smog that was already invading that beautiful country. I wonder what it looks like today.
Tremendous scene very well photographed. You could always pass the smog off as mist! LOL Smog is associated with industry usually so where’s it all coming from? Regards Peter
Thanks, Peter. The smog comes from two main places, chemical valley, just east of Basel where all the big drug companies have their factories and down the Rhine valley from Mulhouse in Alsace, where a French car company, I think Peugot, has a big plant. It’s a real shame!
