I'm Back, Sort of!

It’s been forever since I posted anything to Redbubble, primarily because I wasn’t taking any new pictures. I knew I was coming to Hawaii at the end of December, so I thought to myself, “Self, you can take a bunch of pictures while you’re there.” Wonderful idea, but the best laid plans, etc, etc. At the beginning of December I came down with a really nasty back problem, not quite bad enough to prevent us from coming to Hawaii, but bad enough to prevent me from taking many pictures. Dammit! Once I figure out how to post pictures again, I’ll post some of what I have taken and hope that my back improves so that I can take more during the month that we have remaining here.

In the meantime, hi everyone, it’s good to see you all again.

Thank you

Thank you so much to whoever bought a canvas print of my picture ‘Ho‛okipa Beach Park, Maui’, yesterday. I hope it brings you great pleasure.

Thank You

Thank you so much to whoever bought a greeting card of ‘Chateau de Chenonceau’ last week. This was a memorable moment as it kicked me over the $100 earnings threshold so that for the first time since I joined RB in 1927 I actually get a cheque next month. Oh God, now I have to consider the horrific tax implications of this windfall

I’ve been taking a break from RedBubble for the last little while, catching up on non-essentials like eating and sleeping and essentials like all the rugby from the southern hemisphere that had been building up on my PVR. There’s just so much of it!!

Wot a Surprise!

I actually received a request this morning from the German Bundeskunsthalle to use one of my photographs of the Verdun ossuary in an upcoming First World War exhibition. What a pleasant surprise.

I Actually Sold Something!

Thank you so much, whoever you are, for buying two cards of the Massachusetts State House. It’s very much appreciated, believe me, especially as I’m now within pennies of getting my first ever $100 sales cheque. Oh dear, there are tax implications here, aren’t there! lol

Thank you again

What the Bloody Hell is Going On?

What the hell is going on? For the second time in two weeks the following has happened:

a. I’ve posted an existing picture to a group to enter a challenge in that group and have noticed that I had only posted the picture to one or two groups;

without checking any comments the picture might have received, I posted it to a bunch of other groups;

c. when I later returned to the pictures I found that they had any number of comments, including features.

I’ve not only checked to ensure that I only ever posted each of the pictures once and that is in fact so, but have discovered that virtually every single picture of mine, in excess of 1,000, has been stripped of the groups to which it was originally posted, leaving just one or two checked for each one.

Has this rubbish happened to a…

I Came Back

Hi, everyone,

After a few weeks off to indulge in one of my other loves, reading, I today decided that it was time to come back to redbubble and enjoy more wonderful pictures. Truth is, I ran out of books! lol! I don’t have any new pictures to offer as it ’s very difficult to take pictures and read at the same time, but as soon as Spring gets here, and surely it must come soon, I can probably do something about that.

Imagine my pleasure, however, to find that today some kind person bought a canvas print of ‘Mavillette Beach III’, a beautiful beach here in southwestern Nova Scotia. Whoever you are, thank you very, very much. I hope you get much pleasure from it.

Cheers all.
