A follow-on from Arachno-nursery 1, this shot shows the group once they had reformed in a cosier part of the nest at roof level of the pergola their nest was attached to. Not quite ready to head to the dangers of the outside world, these babies just wanted to snuggle together. Below are a couple of shots of them climbing the threads from the lower part of the nest.
Having experimented with various shots in poor light levels, I took this one with the 40D’s built-in flash.

As with Arachno-nursery 1, this shot is best viewed large, unless you don’t like spiders!
