This is an original acrylic painting on recycled plywood board. The board came from a false floor that was dismantled. I didn’t want to waste the wood so I cut it into different size pieces. This picture was painted from a photograph of one of my favorite trout streams. It is located in Bennett Springs State Park, Missouri. Please Note: THE BOARD IS NOT COMPLETELY SMOOTH. IT HAS SOME GROOVES AND IRREGULARITIES IN IT. It is signed in the lower left corner. The painting measures 24 × 24 and is framed and ready to hang.

My paintings reflect my love of the outdoors, especially those places near a stream, a river, a lake, or the sea. This fascination with the outdoors began when I was a young boy exploring McKenzie Creek, which ran about 50 yards from my Grandmother’s home, in Piedmont Missouri. Many of my paintings are devoted to scenes that have in them a body of water of some type or other. Other features of the outdoors that I am drawn to are mountains, skies, trees, old barns, hay bails, and animals.
