The World as We See it

No one knows what it’s like
To be the bad man
To be the sad man
Behind blue eyes
And no one knows
What it’s like to be hated
To be fated to telling only lies

[Chorus:]
But my dreams they aren’t as empty
As my conscience seems to be
I have hours, only lonely
My love is vengeance
That’s never free

No one knows what its like
To feel these feelings
Like i do, and i blame you!
No one bites back as hard
On their anger
None of my pain and woe
Can show through

[Chorus]

Discover l.i.m.p. say it [x4]
No one knows what its like
To be mistreated, to be defeated
Behind blue eyes
No one knows how to say
That they’re sorry and don’t worry
I’m not telling lies

[Chorus]

No one knows what its like
To be the bad man, to be the sad man
Behind blue eyes.

Shades of the Thinker with elements of the spiritual. Lovely work Daisy – deep with meaning. But the pairing with this song puts a totally different spin on it and you’ve given me much to think about.

  • Hi Lianne! Thanks for the awesome comment. I love to pair my work with music to give deeper meaning and provoke thought. The ‘thinker’ is Narcissus mesmerized with his own reflection (facing away from the Earth he is holding in his hand but you cannot see that very well small size) the blue eyes in the sky are a reference to men who think they are God…the surrounding is a frozen Gaya..count them all together and you can picture what i think is wrong with the world today!:)
Took me hours to finish this one and now I am off to bed!! Thanks to everyone for the great comments! XXX!

Absolutely Love This Daisy….I think the Eyes in the Sky really sets this off but, they don`t distract from the central Image…Love it!
