Me, I’m working on a way (scripts) to ‘mass edit’ media, and to copy tags (all tags) to the description, but I’ve been derailed by other priorities with really hard deadlines (sigh). They will come, it’s complicated (and further complicated by the still-existing tag bug), but I am making progress. Meanwhile, my tags have not been amputated yet – have yours?
