What a difference a day makes!
featured in Abstract Art 11-13-2009
I am getting alot of questions about the rendering time of Incendia! It’s important to know it’s never done so don’t wait for it to finish, you have to stop and check for the detail regularly and save it when you are satisfied with the amount of detail showing!
Here’s a little collage, a detail of a very large file, rendered in Incendia 1.3 the first is after a couple hours of rendering, the second after a day, the third after two days and the fourth after three days, as you can see the detail gets more clear all the time.
Hope this helps a bit! The new Incendia 1.3 is now available to the public, please check it out and give it a try and if you like it make a donation to get the HighRez version, you won’t regret it, it is BRILLIANT!!
Wishing you all a fabulous and creative week!

Thanks Val! this is just to show how more detail shows up the longer you render! It’s so sad that redBubble doesn’t have the option to show a zoom!

Andrea Ida Rausch
Oh….................three days? I am always dreaming I had a second computer or laptop which could stand in the corner, doing nothing else but rendering images, haha.
What a patient girl you must be….....my patience normally ends up when I have reached a rendertime of seven to eight hours. Think my biggest render lasted eleven hours…...my God…...three days…......:-)
And such a wonderful concept to let us watch the daily efforts of this renderprocess!
And last not least…...what a stunning fractal and wonderful gradient!
Outstanding.

I just love green. I never got on with Incendia as I was a Beta tester for it when it first started. I have a 64 bit system that hated it.
Fabulous image.

Ann Morgan
Thanks for the visual explanation on this subject. I have been wondering about rendering time with Incendia. Bryce can take forever IF you have extra lights, or glass and/or reflections. About 3//4 of the time I purposefully do what I can do to lessen rendering time without sacrificing too much if what I want to convey visually. I like to be working more than waiting . If I had 2 computers well then that would be perfect, one could render and I could work on the other. You are a very prolific worker!
DevineDayDreams replied
I am very impatient as well but I think it is so worth to wait until the detail is more defined! having two PC’s is very handy, although I hate to type on my laptop! :) Thank you so much Ann!! i love what you create with Bryce, makes me want to give it a try as well! Wish i had more time!! XXX!

It’s NEVER done?! Ouch!! I’m glad you told us that, because I’ve downloaded the program, and just haven’t gotten around to installing it yet to try it out! Oh my word…...days to render and get that detail?? I don’t know about this…...lol…..maybe I’ll go ahead and try it, and maybe not…..! But that’s a beautiful render that you did, and a great example – thank you!
DevineDayDreams replied 26 days ago
I really think you should give it a try, when I look at your style of work I am sure you will love it, it is brilliant!! Happy Weekend! :)
Fiery-Fire
Great image :)
and even better I have learned something ..hmm…had no clue that the Incendia does not have a final render time (like apo or UF or other 3d’s) – good to know since the program is somewhere on my list to be used in the feature ;)
Thanks Daisy for great image and lesson !!! :D
DevineDayDreams replied 26 days ago
Hi Ywona, I think you will really love it, you should definately give it a try!! Happy Weekend!!!
wolfepaw
Daisy, this is really gorgeous!!! I just love the gradient and this is such a perfect example to show how rendering time can really affect the final outcome of an image. I had no idea that there was no render finish time for Incendia. Learn something new everyday. But, this is a beautiful work. Well done!
