They shed once a year, thus the coat still showing as it finishes in July. The largest coyote recorded weighed about 74 pds, and over 5 ft in length .. Wow!!

    Very nice image Tracey. I love the detail in his eyes. The closest I’ve come to seeing a coyote is when one ran across the road in front of us in Yellowstone. He was too quick to get a photo, but at least I’ve got the memory.:)

  • Thank you Ann! I grew up on a farm, so seeing coyotes and foxes was second nature. Yes they are very quick, the last thing you remember is their bushy tail!
