Ah yes my little chickadee by Jim Butera
Clear

There are two parks in the Summit County Metro Parks where the chickadees are tame and will eat out of your hand. This one was eating and when I fired the shutter he took off.

Firestone Metro Park, Akron, Ohio, USA. Sony Alpha 100, Maxxum 18-75mm f:3.5/5.6.

This is even better than if you had a picture of the bird eating out of your hand – it shows how quick they are! Brilliant capture!

  • Thanks! They are quick, it’s amazing that from the time of the shutter until the time that the image was recorded that he could move that much!

  • Thank you so much! They’re so fast, I thought I was going to get a shot of him eating the crackers.
