Ok so this year I decided that I really wanted to do something to help raise money or donate towards a special cause. And then I thought about it and asked myself, " Why not do something different every year?" So this year I really wanted to do something for Breast Cancer.
Well I recently heard about “the3day” Susan G. Komen walk (60 miles total) and you also have to raise at least $2,300 that goes towards Breast Cancer Research and Community Programs. This is the great opportunity and experience that I was hoping for. And now I have to just convince myself that I can do this.
Breast Cancer is something that has always touched my heart and for so many reasons. But one reason in particular is that my mother-in-law is a breast cancer survivor. And after hearing everything that she and her family had to go through, it really made me want to HELP in any way that I possibly could.
I have never raised money for anything in the past so I think that is the part that scares me the most. I’m just going to put it into God’s hands and if this is what I’m supposed to do then it will all work out. I will definitely keep everyone updated. Thanks again everyone for all your support.

I don’t have a paypal account, but all donations are being made through the offical site for the Susan G. Komen 3-day walk for a cure. I added a page called “the cure” to my website to make it much more convenient for everyone.

Thanks Terri :) I definitely agree that when you do selfless acts for others, beautiful things are bound to happen!
