I’m pleased you like it Anna, I wonder if someone who is not Australian would think the same? when i exhibited one of my landscapes in Italy a few years ago, one of the most frequent comments i received about the work, was that there was no mistaking that it was a Australian landscape…. in that particular work I think it was fairly obvious. It’s interesting that you say the Australian feel comes across in this piece too. (Maybe I should get in touch with Sam Leach and give him a few tips!) :)
… well … since I migrated to Australia 19 years ago – it had been for me gradual and conscious searching for the way how could I relate to this land … and i am quite sure that by now I have arrived to a point of a real deep love and fascination …. :) … Sam Leach – oh well – best luck to him – why not ! …. :)
ahh!……. now i’ve read your profile, I see you are originally from the Czech Republic! (my next question could be whether someone who has always lived in Australia would pick up on the ‘Australian’ feel of my work also? )
