We decided to get another rescue dog to keep our Lab/chow mix, Katie, company. We found Cooper, a pitbull mix, at the local shelter. After checking the two out together, he joined the family. Katie never had puppies, but she has become Cooper’s mommy. Just like a human child, he can get on her nerves occasionally, but she loves caring for him and he loves being cared for.
