I teach a course at the local camera club called “Mastering Your Point and Shoot.” Two of my students and I decided to take advantage of the wonderful wildflowers blooming at the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum (Tucson, Arizona, USA) this spring to practice our camera skills. All three of us use superzooms (two Panasonics and one Sony). What really grabs me about this scene is the light and softness of the colors.
BTW, the course name is being changed to “Mastering Your Digital Camera.” I found that there are a lot of DSLR users in our club that don’t know how to use the features of their cameras either.
Photographed with a Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ50.
