A friend and I have gone nuts photographing the fabulous cactus blossoms that are gracing the landscape this year in southern Arizona. Having taken plenty from the top, I decided to take this one from underneath the Blaze trichocereus so the sunlight would set off the under-petals. It makes a very interesting and colorful abstract.
Photographed in May, 2010 in Green Valley, Arizona, USA with a Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ50.
