This photograph of Greg Red Elk, a Dakota Sioux, was taken at the 2010 New Year’s Competition Pow-Wow held in Tucson, Arizona, USA. There weren’t as many dancers at this event as are at the Wa:k Pow-Wow held in late March at the San Xavier Mission, but you could get a little closer here. The photography rule of this event is that photos are allowed for personal use only so photos in this series are not for sale.
Photographed with a Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ28 with two free texture layers from stock.xchng.com.
