Monument Valley

You have to be at the right place at the right time. That’s the mantra of a photographer. This photograph proves it. Taken in Monument Valley, Arizona in May, 1999 (yes, it was taken with film).

I’ve taken a lot of photographs that I really love, but this one is my favorite of all. Driving through Monument Valley was spectacular and we happened to stop at this location. I think there was a sign that said we weren’t supposed to be there, but it was worth the stop.
