Profile
I have been taking photographs since I was about 10 years old. I live about 25 miles south of Tucson, Arizona, in Green Valley, a very active retirement community. I have very eclectic tastes in art, music and friends. I photograph anything that presents itself and if it doesn’t, I go looking for it. I joined the Green Valley Camera Club (membership of about 850) about three years ago, when I retired. I now teach and facilitate activities for the club, including a black/white special interest group. I still make time for making and enhancing my own photographs as well as creating slideshows of club and personal activities.

I use a Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ 28 (18x zoom) as well as a DMC-FZ 50 (12x zoom). I prefer the FZ 50 for macros. No more messing around with heavy cameras and lenses any more. I shoot RAW whenever I’m not shooting something moving quickly.
