I’d like to have a dollar for all the people who have visited this place, only to find this scene to be covered in cloud.
Never been here myself, but I think that this is a pretty good catch!

Nice shot! I bet that that mountain looks really cool when the wind is blowing the snow off it. Might be an idea if its close to see if you could get that shot. Great capture though!

This takes me back. I went to Zermatt on a skiing holiday with the family when I was about five – a few years ago!! Such a dramatic mountain. beautiful shot.

My favourite mountain by a long way. My dad climbed this in the 1950’s, and I would dearly love to climb it myself, but would need to get much fitter than I am. I’d better keep climbing these Scottish mountains. This is a great image :~)

thank you very much! For climbing the Matterhorn one really needs to be in great shape, I’d never be able to do it. :-)

Wow what an amazing mountain!

Thank you very much for your comment, you are so right, that mountain is simply fantastic. I guess it’s mostly because it is so big and stands alone. It’s not some peak in a mountain range. That makes it so special. :-)
