In a magical moment between night and day,
there is a special place and time.
The time between seconds,
when light and dark both have equal play.
So quick, so fleeting, this special time.
The blink of an eye and it is gone again.
The catch of a breath in the cold morning air,
this special time between.
It is my passion to capture this time.
To freeze it and hold it forever.
An endless journey, an endless quest.
This one small moment in time.

Beautiful poem. And quite true that it becomes a passion to capture just the right moment.
What did people do before there were cameras.

Beautiful words, Deri. You’re so right that it’s an endless quest… But that’s a good thing, because it means a lifetime of pursuing that passion.

Beautiful writting Deri; and it so perfectly describes our special moments as photographers that only we get to experience ; and so hope that we pass on that essence through our images!
