This little owl (the most common type of owl in our area) was rescued by a Raptor Center and ended up at the Cascade Raptor Center. They were unable to return her to the wild (due to an eye injury) and she remains as a permanent resident at the Cascade Raptor Center along with 60+ other birds of Prey. The Raptor center is involved in rescuing and returning hundreds of birds to the wild each year, including Eagles, Owls and Hawks. They are completely supported by the public.
