i never count journel entries or even written work when i put up my views only my images, think its a good thing when people say about vies, sales, frontpage or anything else as it encourages, i for one dont think of it as getting as extra views cos as i say dont count journel entries , anyone who reads your other journal will see what you are saying

I don’t mind people putting up number of views. I have done it myself. I am making light of leaving/not leaving and so I followed some of the tips posted there and posted my number of views as part of the suggestions (see airing my laundry and other tips in my other journal).

Deri- I’m Not Having my leaving parrty after all! I found out that someone bubblemailed someone else to say they thought one of my pictures was under exposed by a third of a stop and thats like, SO NOT TRUE! So because I just don’t know who to trust anymore, You have all been uninvited to my party. (But keep watching this space because I have 500 burgers and some mayo to get rid of, so it may be back on)

So, are you having a “Uninvited to my party” party? I can help organize it if you want. I am experienced with this type of party.

I knew you were capable of following in the footsteps of your predecessors, and trust many folk on RB take a leaf out of your book and create their own parties. One can never have too many coming/leaving party invitations.

Let me see, for these two journals there are close to 1000 views. Ahha! Do you think I could try selling my journals? They are getting the most views now. Hmmm. It looks like a total of 3 views for my art pieces.

ROFL. One more thing you have to do… you have to write a journal entry saying because of your lack of sales you are leaving the bubble. That should get you a sale for sure! And then after that sale you can announce you are staying ;p

Ahaaaa. Another valuable tip. But earlier I announced that cards were flying off the shelf. I was hoping to impress people into buying my artwork. I like this tact much better. Perhaps I should announce that what I meant was the cards were glued to the shelf. I doubt people would notice the slip.

Agree with StacyLee….I have seen that tactic in operation a few times….“I’m leaving, no-one likes/is buying my work”…..a few hours later “OMG, I am soooooo surprised, I just sold a card, I didn’t see that one coming!!” It’s actually quite annoying that one….subtle as a sledgehammer!!
