Willow
A rescued Arctic wolf, Willow had never seen grass before she came to the Refuge. She had previously been kept in a small cage with no room to run. She now has 48 acres of space. The normal range of an arctic wolf is 200 miles.

aww she looks so nervous…
we had a cat once that had spent 3years inside with previous owners and had never been outside even once, when she came to live with us, the first time she went out into the yard, the look on her face was just like willows here!
its so sad how people can treat animals so cruelly. how they can? it boggles the mind.
but its fantastic that your willow was rescued!

Thanks so much for the comments everyone. I will post some more pictures of the wolf pack. It is so very sad. Some of them were rescued from fur farms, where they were being bred to raise pups that would be used in fur coats. When rescued, the wolves were almost starved to death and one wolf had to have her tail cut off on the spot, it was so infected that it would have killed her.
