The Moment

In a magical moment between night and day, there is a special place and time. The time between seconds, when light and dark both have equal play.
So quick, so fleeting, this special time.
The blink of an eye and it is gone again.
The catch of a breath in the cold morning air, this special time between.
It is my passion to capture this time.
To freeze it and hold it forever.
An endless journey, an endless quest.
This one small moment in time.

Thanks for the comments on this one. I got up early this morning and waited for the sun to come up to catch this shot. There are only a few leaves left on the trees, so I was lucky to find one that was waiting for me.

Hi Dori,
I quickly viewed your photos, as it’s past my bed time.
“The Moment” is exceptional from top to bottom and side to side. DOF is wonderful, all you captured looks like the leaf is suspended in air full of life.
I just bought micro filters, cuz I didn’t want to pay the price for a Nikon Micro lens.

Thanks so much for your comments! I love your work. I went to the website listed above and went through your portfolio. I am on my way to work, so I will have more time later to go through it. I especially found the ancient village (with the long name) to be very captivating.
