The blowing Alvord desert playa dust over a week ago glued my last Canon auto-shutters! They are a mistake in dusty central oregon?

My new Canon is being delivered to Idaho; as I hope to get better pileated photos. Red Bubblers actually recommended Canon S3 with image stabilization and 12 x telephoto?
Frankly, my dear, My moving wild bird photos are pathetic!

I was hoping some one would photo our Oregon Big full Moon last night.

Beautiful moon it is! Yes I took one of the Moon last night too but, it looked different because it was just before the rain. gases around it showed through the clouds. Anyway great job of putting this one together derid!

They say the moon appears bigger near the horizon, but hey!.... A very effective composit Derid and a good clear shot of the moon.

Thanks so much for all your comments. The full moon, a clear sky, who can resist a shot of the moon. I actually had clear shot of the moon again tonight, and have a few more photos to follow.
For those of you interested in what i used for this shot:
Canon EOS 1D M3
Canon 100-400 With a Canon 1.4X teleconverter
Aperture : F/8,
Shutter speed: 1/125 with a focal length of 550 mm
ISO 50
exposure bias -3

Thanks so much for the feedback everyone. This photo was altered in Photoshop. While the moon was huge, it wasn’t quite as big as this image. Fires down in CA did cause the moon to appear to be larger and Photoshop helped it along.
