Oh, what a splendid view, excellent!

I like both shots but think I prefer this one. The tighter crop works well and is quite geometric. I really like the way my eye flows in a zig-zag from the bottom left in a line along the top of the trees then left along the line of the mountain, really adds to the gorgeous tonal layers and textures. Great work.

I liked the original as well, but this one is also beautiful. To be honest, I didn’t even notice the horizon in the first one, as all of the scenery and clouds were so stunning that it made me not pay any attention to the horizon. :)

i not good at analysing landscape so probably didn’t even notice the line not being right – anyway, this is a great shot too and love the black and white.

Thanks for the comments. Its not something you would notice, unless you stood a distance from it, or was looking for it. I honestly didn’t notice it until the day after I posted it.
