Thank all of you for your comments. I really appreciate them. This shot was taken from the perspective of my trike (which is a recumbant 3 wheel bike). My trike allows me to ride along and take shots from a very low angle.

Thank so much for the comments on this. The “big” city is Portland Oregon, largest city in Oregon (somewhere around a million people). Since I come from St Paul Oregon (pop 313) it doesn’t take much to make a city look big.

There is something very dream-like about this fine photograph. “Those hazy, lazy, crazy days of Summer” comes to mind and I sense the muffled sounds of children playing and the soft hiss of the water.

Before I saw the bigger version and read what it was, it looked like a close up image of portion of a face, just the nose and a glint of an eye, with a shot of someone walking in the foreground, and I still can’t get thought out of my head. Thats what makes a great piece when the each viewer sees something different.
