It's a Beaver Thing!!!
I don’t know how these beavers do it!! Swimming around in the cold water, boobing up and back down their hole in the ice in search of delicious water lily roots. Which must be a main food source as this marsh is almost devoid of deciduous trees… I didn’t get a shot of two beavers fighting over a root, they were extremely vocal at each other as they both tugged at it!! LOL!!

u know…a lot of lilly roots are actually pretty good? u boil them…mash them up…add the salt and whatever…....and…mush! walah! lol
