This is a shot of the place I visted this weekend. Its called Gamkaskloof but its colloquial name id “Die Hel”, which means “The Hell”.

    It sure doesn’t look like Hell Deon. Gorgeous landscape, well worth the trip to Hell and back. What are those plants in the foreground??

    I am not very fond of HDR mostly becouse it often destroys a good photo in a way.

    You might have a nice photo under there but I think the HDR is too much.

    You’re setting your standards a tad too high Deon, this is FANTASTIC – I just love the shadows from the cloud in the background

    Hey Deon, I too am only just discovering the fabulous (IMHO) world of HDR.
    I think in this one you fell into a trap like I did. Oversaturation of colour. Mel Brackstone pointed it out to me and ever since I have tried not to oversaturate. Mel’s pics are awesome and I am trying to emulate her. I’d love to see this image posted again with the colour levels toned down a touch, because I think it has great potential.

    I think you are setting your standards very high indeed. this is a wonderful shot the sky is fantastic. As said before the foreground is a little oversaturated but only slightly.
