Ladybirds clumping on a garden ornament – silly things, they’ve all disappeared now.

It’s great when they group like this! Wish I knew what they talked about!

  • Aren’t they weird? One year we had literally thousands of them, clumping in a window frame, inside … they kept falling in the cooking! There’s actually one on the keyboard right now – must rescue her before mornging:)

First of all I love the way you saw this… it`s like yes, the wrought iron with the gaping mouth is so totally Alien… can almost see the saliva drooling from those razor sharp teeth !!
But of course the coolest thing is that you got these ladybirds fearlessly predating to the extent that nuthin`s now left but the skeleton. No wonder they`ve all split… nuthin’ left to munch on :-))

This is awesome work Denzil, right down to the effective depth of field… we don`t need to see what`s in the background, and as such the tones blend beautifully to make this as much a work of art as tantalizing food for the imagination.
    LOVE it !!!

  • Love this comment – thanks a mill!!! Your imagination is, as always, inspirational:)
