The men driving this cart noticed that I was interested in taking a photo and pulled over to the side of the road so that I could get out of the car, run ahead and shoot them. Smiles all round! The bullocks are decorated for the same festival that made the cows turn yellow :)
Such an amazing country India,Denzil,most of the population don’t have enough to eat and don’t have anything to look forward to,but they smile,there’s a lesson in there for all of us,nice shot!!!
You are so right Lance – I worried about taking some photos, that I might offend, or certainly challenge, with my big camera and my obvious Western (relative) affluence. But everybody was not only happy to be photographed, mostly they would stop and pose, as well as share the most wonderful smiles! Truly a most amazing country, and wonderful people.
