me about me.

Art is one of the most important parts in my life. I spent plenty of time on being artistic, thinking about art to be done next or looking at the art of others (like here on redbubble.com of course :) ).

I loved being creative since i was a child. I did a lot of artistic workshops, painted, wrote short stories and other things, but since only a few years it became “more than just a hobby”. I guess it was about the time when things went digital.

I’ve started working with photoshop regularly about 3 years ago and i’m glad to notice that my skills have been improved a lot since then. I remember the first days with not even being able to create a curved line :). Getting started has never been harder for an autodidact…
A year later i started working at a youth center and got me a graphic tablet with my first wage to be ready for digital painting. Although it helps a lot transferring your ideas on a digital canvas im not completely satisfied with the results yet. Yes, it is not comparable with holding a real pen.
I guess the next big step was a year month ago, when i bought a camera, so the main objective in the last weeks had been getting into photoghraphy. My father used to photograph a lot, that could probably have awaken my interests. ( Of course, i’d be quite happy if some of you could take a look at my photos and give me some tips and suggestions about that. )
