I am a self-thought artist and since my childhood I am interested in art. I am always fascinated with nature and the way sceneries change from season to season. By observing nature I see G-D’s constant renewal in His creation. Personal Website

Interesting shot Iluna. Do pilgrims just visit or do they still do baptisms here? Can a person cross the river freely?
thanks for comment…you cannot go into the river and you cannot cross it…military is very visible on both sites…the day before 60 buses full of christan pilgrims visit this place…..

I expected clear water. It is a very special place for all Christains. Thank you for this special and beautiful work.
Thank you Ilunia for sharing… this is a special place (I am a Christian)…but oh my…I am surprised! I have read about it for years in the Bible and somehow expected a big wide clear river…this looks like not much more than a creek! Moshe posted a picture of it a few weeks go and it looked a bit bigger…isn’t it funny the preconcieved ideas one gets about something?!
A beautiful and very good photograph Ilunia
In response to Estelle comment, Yes it is often thought that the jordan is a mighty wide and impressive river as one can see in other countries. It is narrow and not as impressive at parts, but when the snow thaw from the mountain, and after rains it can be much wider, dangerous and fast. Thanks for sharing this serine river image with the Art of the Middle East group.
very well captured and composition is awsome my friend
